Split Level is the name of a unique duo formed by saxophonist Dick de Graaf and organist Hayo Boerema. Since 2009, they regularly perform in churches in the greater Rotterdam (NL) area, often as part of festivals such as Rotterdam Organ Festival and North Sea Round Town. As a vehicle for their improvisations, they use themes from classical works, jazz- and pop songs, as well as their own compositions.
